Charles B. Spriggs, 80, of Winthrop Harbor, IL passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the V.A. Medical Center in North Chicago., IL. He was born August 7, 1942 in Mt. Gilead, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Evelyn Spriggs. Charlie was married to the love of his life, Margaret for 52 years. He proudly served for 26 years in the United States Navy retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. He was also a member of the VFW in Winthrop Harbor, IL.  He loved to fish, play golf, and spend time with his grandchildren and cheer on the Green Bay Packers. He is survived by his loving family; his wife Margaret, his son Brian (Kerry) Spriggs, his daughter Diane Stephens, grandchildren; Madalyn and Hayley Stephens, Brady Spriggs, Caitlin Jessen, and Cade and Cullen Sauve, and siblings; Linda Row, Marsha Spriggs, and David and Gary Spriggs.  A celebration of life will be at a later date.  The family would like to acknowledge the entire staff who cared for Charlie at the V.A. Greenhouse 201, and gave him such excellent care.
