Christine Patrick, 41, of Waukegan, passed away on March 1, 2012. She was working part time for Balderdash Collections while attending CLC with the anticipation of graduating with an Assoc. of Science Degree in May of this year. She had an Assoc. of Arts Degree from Mnt. St. Clare College in Iowa, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Clarke College in 1992. She taught for one year at Immaculate Conception Elementary School in Waukegan, and then began teaching fifth grade at St. Joseph Elementary School in Round Lake for eight years. She was a lifelong member of Most Blessed Trinity Parish at Immaculate Conception Church in Waukegan, being a member of the Choir for a number of years. She recently became involved with Art Walk and enjoyed various activities of Main Street in Waukegan, and was scheduled to walk in the Relay for Life benefit.

Survived by her mother, Victoria, and numerous cousins and friends; with a special fondness and thanks to our friend, Peggy Shorts, for her persistence first and foremost, and to the Waukegan Fire and Police Depts.

Preceded in death by her grandparents, Victor and Elizabeth (Betty) Jereb, and great-grandparents, Joseph Salcius and Mary Vepley/Salcius, and numerous extended family.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 17th from 8:00am until time of Mass at 10:00am at Immaculate Conception Church, located on the corner of Grand Avenue and West Street in Waukegan. She will be laid to rest at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. The burial will be private.
