George A. Maki, 73, of Beach Park, IL., passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. He was born in Marquette, MI on December 10, 1940 to George and Evelyn (Hoy) Maki. George retired after 30 years at International Harvester in Libertyville, IL., to Eben Jct., MI. George was also a member of Munising, MI Lions Club.

He is survived by one son, George (Brandall); three daughters, Jean (Pablo) Ramirez, Sherry (Jeremy) Schwartz, and Robyn (Rob) Moeller; twelve grandchildren, Bryanna and Alan Maki, April (Michael), Jennifer, Sara and Paul Ramirez, Michelle, Staci, Matthew, and Sean Vargas, Braedon and Delainey Moeller; and eight great grandchildren, Addison, Ashland, Alexander, Conner, Kaleigh, Ky'ra, Logan and Austin.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Sandy.
