Gregory R. Thrall, 50, of North Chicago passed away suddenly on January 1, 2013 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. He was born in Waukegan, IL. and was a life long resident of the Waukegan, North Chicago area. Greg was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago White Sox, and he loved to golf and bowl. He was also an active member of the North Chicago Lions Club. He had been employed at Lake Forest College as a Facilities Management Engineer for the past 20 years.

He is survived by his mother Barbara (nee Slovnik) of North Chicago, a sister Dianna Thivierge of Beach Park, a brother Jeffery of North Chicago, his fiancee Kathy Deram-Clark of North Chicago, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert, his maternal grandparents John and Amalia, and his paternal grandmother Lillian.

The funeral service will be here in the funeral home on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 7:00 pm with visitation from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Inurnment will be private.
