Joan M. Cook (nee Jeffers), 68, of Lindenhurst, IL passed away suddenly on January 25, 2021.  She was born on October 7, 1952 in Waukegan, IL.  She was a member of the Serenity House in Libertyville, IL and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wadsworth, IL.  She was employed at Comm Ed for thirty three years before retiring.

She is survived by her daughter Alison Ramos, and her two grandchildren; Ian and Austin Ramos, her sister Jane Moore, and two nephews; Nick (Angie) Moore and Nathan (Erin) Moore, and many other beloved family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Ian and her parents;  Henry "Jeff" and June Jeffers.

A Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Church, 15000 W. Wadsworth Road, in Wadsworth. (it will be at the new church).
