John E. Dobnikar's Obituary
John E. Dobnikar, passed away unexpectedly on June 2, 2015 in Sarasota, FL. He was born on April 2, 1926 in Waukegan, IL and had been a lifelong resident until his retirement to Florida. He was owner and President of J.D. Plating Works, Inc. for his entire professional career. John was a kind and loving husband and father who will be missed terribly by his family.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce (nee Anderson) Dobnikar of Sarasota; his daughter, Cheryle Dobnikar of Chicago; a sister, Mary Keller of Pana, IL; and a brother-in-law, Marvin Anderson of Neguanee, MI.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Jeffrey; a sister, Sylvia Dobnikar; and a brother-in-law, Alysious Keller.
Funeral Services were private.
