Jose L. Hernandez, 41, of Waukegan, IL. passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, in Park Ridge, IL. He was born on September 3, 1981 in Mexico to Consula and Edwardo Hernandez.  He leaves behind his mother Consula, his brother Jorge, his sisters; Leticia, Blanca, Teresa, Gabriela, Alicia Maya, Maria Gwen and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father Edwardo, his brother Pedro, and his sister Gloria.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 7, 2023 here at the funeral home from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Church, 450 Keller Ave., Waukegan, IL. He will be laid to rest at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
