Meldan R. Danielson was born on January 11, 1940. He passed away on December 25, 2020. He was born and raised in Waukegan, Illinois. He enlisted in the United States Air Force from 1961-1965. In October 1967 he married his wife, Constance (Leginski)  Danielson at Holy Rosary Church (now Queen of Peace Church). They were married for 53 years. He worked for Abbott Laboratories for over 30 years. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, a Pittsburgh Pirates fan and Milwaukee Brewers fan. He loved watching NASCAR. In his early years, he loved to put together models of trains, planes and cars. He loved old time country music, his family and his beloved MELS GAL. He is survived by his children Joseph (Christina) Danielson of North Chicago, Maria (Ryan) May of Beach Park, and Robert (Cami) Danielson of Antioch, his sister Vivian (Dave) Blain, and his 3 grandchildren Hailey Rivera, Reagan May and Connor May. He was preceded in death by his parents, Evar and Margarete Danielson and his wife Constance. Due to Covid 19 restrictions Mass of Christian Burial will be private at Queen of Peace Church in North Chicago. He will be laid to rest at North Shore Garden of Memories in North Chicago.
