M. Ofelia Gomez, 67, of Waukegan passed away on April 26, 2025 at Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan. Born in Mexico, she emigrated to this country at a very young age. Ofelia retired from Medline after 41 years of service. She left behind her husband Arnoldo, her 3 sons; Luis, Edwardo, and Marcos, her grandchildren; Joelly, Arelyz, and Maleia, her siblings; Lourdes Gonzales, Lucila Gonzales, and Angeles Segura, and many extended family members. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 8th, 2025 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at Iglesia Emanuel, 1300 10th St., Waukegan, IL. Funeral Service will be on Friday, May 9th, 2025 at 10:00 am at the church. She will be laid to rest at Northshore Garden of Memories in North Chicago immediately following the service.
