Ray Anthony
Flores
Apr 9, 1964 — Sep 2, 2022
Beach Park
Our beloved brother, Ray Anthony Flores is at eternal rest. Ray was born on April 9, 1964, and God our Savior brought Ray to his eternity on September 2, 2022. Eternal rest was granted upon Ray. He was 58 years young. He was surrounded by his family when perpetual light shone upon his soul. Ray was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend. Ray was our protector. He was so strong and funny. He was a household mover for most of his life. Ray loved his music and Bears football. He often phoned his special nephew Matthew to hang out in the man cave. He adored his nephews Rolando and Matthew Pulido. Ray loved to hang out with family and his bud, Papa Steve. (Thanks for being one of his favorite 'bros', Ray loved you so much) Ray was a loving uncle, he so loved, loved, loved all his nieces and nephews. Ray has four sisters and two brothers that will miss him so so so much. He will forever live in our hearts, our faith carries our grief. To know Ray is in Heaven with God, to be with our mother and father, two brothers and all the angels and saints is spiritual. We are human and our hearts are broken. Rock on beloved brother, you will never be forgotten. You will always remind us of our father, Henry. We gratefully thank all the nurses and doctors in the ICU of Vista Hospital, you all will never be forgotten. You worked so very hard day and night for Ray, we pray for you daily, you are all saints. Thank you to Father Xamie, of Little Flower Parish/St. Dismas Church. Ray is survived by his two daughters; Christina and Hannah, his brothers; Gene (Marie) Halaska and Jesse (LaTonya) Flores, his sisters; Princess Pulido, Lolita (Raul) Valle, Lisa Flores and Sylvia (Juan) Arellano, and his beloved friend Veronica. (God bless you for being with Ray during this heartbreaking time). He was preceded in death by his parents; Henry and Lupe Flores, brothers; baby Orlando Flores and Tracy Pierce (2021). Visitation will be at Bradley Funeral Home, 313 10 th St, North Chicago (847-473-3966) on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 8:00 until 10:00 am.
