Syvia Dobnikar, 88, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011 in Libertyville, IL. She was born on August 11, 1923 in Waukegan. Prior to retiring, Sylvia had been employed at the family business, J.D. Plating Co. of Waukegan, for many years.

She is survived by her sister; Mary (Aloysius) Keller of Waukegan, her brother; John E. (Joyce) Dobnikar of Sarasota, FL, and a niece Cheryle Dobnikar of Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her nephew Jeffrey Dobnikar and her parents, John and Mary.

A Chapel Service will be on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011 at 11:00am here at the funeral home. Visitation will be an hour prior from 10:00am until 11:00am. She will be laid to rest at Ascension Cemetery, in Libertyville.
