Ted M. Hargress was born on August 28, 1947 in Greensboro, AL. He took his journey home on February 9, 2015. He retired from the U.S. Navy after many years of service. Ted leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years, Mattie Hargress, four children; Monica, Ted Jr., David and Allison, six grandchildren; Jaylen, Janessa, Calvin, Mason, Allen and Samuel (unborn). He is preceded in death by his parents, Alice and Ned Hargress, and sisters; Susie B. Jones Hargress, and Minnie Hargress.

Services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015, here at the funeral home. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am followed by the service at 10:00 am. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion.
