Theresa Martinaitis, 76, of North Chicago, IL passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2011 in Chicago. She was born on July 18, 1935 in Washington D.C. She was a past member of St. Bart's Catholic Church in Waukegan, and was a graduate of Holy Child High School in Waukegan in 1953. Theresa held a special place in her heart for animals.

She is survived by two daughters; Cynthia (Alan) Houchin of Joliet, IL and Suzanne Martinaitis of Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, and her parents Andrew and Anna Rayunas.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Gages Lake Rd, Gurnee, IL. Fr. Bill Zavaski will be the Celebrant. Entombment immediately following at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. The family will receive visitors an hour prior to Mass starting at 10:00am. Memorials to Save-A-Pet, P.O.
